Email updates included

Out-for-delivery, next-stop and delivered updates are all included by email at no extra charge, with an ETA and delivery photo when available. Updates use the email entered for the order, or the customer’s saved email when left blank. No billing account is needed. No email credits or SMS package are needed.

Choose out-for-delivery, next-stop and delivered updates. Texts use the buyer’s mobile entered for the order, or their saved number when left blank. Email-first defaults and saved customer choices help you control who receives texts.

Include the shop photo in the out-for-delivery text if you wish. Delivered texts can share the delivery photo. Short links open a private page with your shop name and logo, plus a Floral Pulse mention.

Send a short update as the driver progresses through the run. A current ETA is included when available.

*Based on 3 one-credit texts per delivery over 30 days: 450, 1,350 or 2,250 credits. This is a guide, not a daily limit. Choose fewer updates to use fewer credits; longer messages can use more.

Monthly credits renew after successful payment and expire at the end of their billing period. Cancel SMS renewal at any time; remaining paid credits stay available until their expiry.

Top-up credits carry over without expiry. Credits that expire are used first. There are no automatic top-ups or extra usage charges.

A few useful details

  • 1 credit usually covers 1 short text. A credit pays for one SMS segment. Longer messages or special characters may use more. Message previews show the expected credit cost.
  • UK mobiles only. Updates go to the purchasing customer. Landlines and overseas numbers are excluded.
  • Your customer’s choice matters. Use email first, or choose texts for customers with a UK mobile even when an email is available. Saved opt-outs are respected.
  • Photos stay in the same text. Optional shop photos and available delivery photos use short, private links to a page with your branding and a Floral Pulse mention. SMS photo links expire after 7 days by default.
  • Credit use starts when a text is submitted. Rejected submissions have credits restored. A later delivery failure can still use credits.
  • Email updates continue if SMS credits run out. New texts wait briefly for credits, then expire to avoid sending outdated delivery news.

All prices are in GBP. Floral Pulse is currently not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. The 30-day Core trial does not include free SMS credits. If your account has an agreed included SMS allowance, it is shown in Workroom and can be used without buying a package.

Are customer order update emails free?

Yes. Order update emails are included at no extra charge with your Floral Pulse Core subscription. Core is £79/month per shop after the 30-day trial. No billing account is needed. Updates use the email entered for the order, falling back to the customer’s saved email when left blank. SMS credits are charged separately.

Can I buy text credits without a monthly SMS package?

Yes. One-off top-ups work without a Starter, Growth or Pro SMS subscription. You still need an active Floral Pulse account. Buy credits as needed; unused top-ups do not expire and there is no automatic renewal.

Do the SMS packages have different features?

No. Starter, Growth and Pro include the same text-update features. They differ in monthly credits and price. All support out-for-delivery, next-stop and delivered updates, current ETAs when available, and private photo links. One credit covers one SMS segment, so longer messages can cost more.
